Founded in 1984 by Mr. Deepak Kumar Rudra in Bardhaman, Rudra Group began its journey with a Mahindra Tractor dealership. With an unwavering commitment to service and a forward-thinking mindset, the group steadily expanded its presence in the Indian automobile sector.

In 1988, the group partnered with Hero Honda (now Hero MotoCorp), launching its first two-wheeler dealership. The momentum continued with the formation of Rudra Auto Automotive in 1992, expanding into Mahindra & Mahindra’s passenger vehicle segment.

A decade later, in 2002, Rudra Group made a significant leap with the launch of Rudra Hyundai, taking charge of Hyundai Motor India’s operations in South Bengal—one of its most successful ventures.

Expansion didn’t stop there.

Rudra Automart Pvt. Ltd. and Rudra Enterprises began operations across Purulia, Birbhum, and West Bardhaman in 2008.

In 2010, Rudra Auto Parts was established to distribute genuine Hero spare parts across key districts of West Bengal.

Today, the group operates multiple branches of Hyundai, Mahindra, and Hero, with operations spanning across Purba & Paschim Medinipur, Bankura, Purulia, Jhargram, and Bardhaman.

Rudra Kia, the newest chapter, was inaugurated in Asansol, marking the group’s partnership with Kia Motors India—a brand known for bold, futuristic, and performance-driven vehicles. Spearheaded by Mr. Debrup Rudra as Director and Managing Director of Rudra Kia, this venture embraces the evolving Indian SUV market with models like Seltos, Sonet, and Carnival.

The next generation of the Rudra family—Mr. Debrup Rudra, Mr. Anirban Rudra, Mr. Soumen Rudra, and Mr. Avirup Rudra—continues to lead the group with innovation, dedication, and a shared vision for excellence.
